Flying in Las Vegas

I shot most of these from my first ride in a helicopter. The first one is from a sightseeing flight from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, which I highly recommend.

In the top left (daytime) photo, that's the Stratosphere Tower on the left.

In the photo above right are the Mirage and Treasure Island hotels. The photo on the left shows where the Las Vegas Strip bends. Up is northeast in that photo.

I bought the shortest helicopter flight available. It was about a 10-minute tour of the Las Vegas Strip. If I did it again, I'd take a longer flight, since that wasn't long enough to fly the length of the Strip and back.
